How Pizza Bank works today
A way to order a lot of pizza from independent local pizzerias. For every 7 pizzas you order, the pizzeria makes 1 more and gives it away in its own neighborhood.
Simple maths: order 7 and the pizzeria makes 1 more. Order 14 and it makes 2, order 21 and it makes 3. Those extra pizzas are not money off your bill — they are given away.
The pizzeria hands them out around its own neighborhood. Each pizzeria sorts out how it does that when it joins — they know their own street better than we do.
Email us with how many people, what day, and where it is going. We find a pizzeria near you, sort out the price and timing with them, and come back to you. There is no online checkout yet.
Each pizzeria sets its own prices, and you pay them directly. You will always see the price before you commit to anything.
The more the better, honestly. Get in touch as soon as you know the date and we will tell you what is doable.
Tell us about allergies, and how many vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free you need. It depends a bit on the pizzeria, but we will check with them before anything is booked.
We work with independent pizzerias around the DC area. Get in touch and we will talk it through — how orders would reach you, how the extra pizzas get handed out, and whether you want to appear on the site at all. Nothing goes up without your say-so.
No pizzeria is listed without its explicit agreement. If you believe your business appears somewhere on this site in error, email us and we will take it down.
Email support@todotasteful.com and a person will get back to you. We do not have a phone line yet.
